Zender Environmental is offering a free, in-person training focused on building sustainable and effective solid waste management programs for Tribal and rural communities.

This three-day workshop will explore how to manage a solid waste program as a utility, using self-assessment exercises and group discussions to identify strengths, address challenges, and improve long-term program sustainability. Participants will also hear from guest speakers on climate change planning for solid waste management and education and outreach strategies.

Small travel stipends are available for participants who need assistance attending the training.
