The Chickaloon Village Traditional Council Fish Passage Program invites Tribal environmental professionals, fisheries staff, natural resource managers, and partners to attend the next Tribal Fish Passage Working Group meeting.
This quarterly meeting will include:
- 🐟 Updates on Tribal fish passage projects (participants are encouraged to share project updates)
- 💰 Upcoming funding opportunities
- 📅 Conferences and training opportunities
Representatives from GeoEngineers will present on the use of large woody material (LWM) in habitat restoration projects, including:
• The role of large wood in stream ecosystems
• Restoration project types that incorporate large wood
• Design principles and engineering considerations
• Construction methods
• Technical guidance and planning resources
An agenda and calendar invitation will be shared with participants before the meeting.
