US EPA is offering government-to-government consultation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on an upcoming Clean Water Act action on the State of Alaska’s list of impaired waters which is contained in Alaska’s 2026 Integrated Report.
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation submitted the 2026 Integrated Report to the EPA on May 28, 2026, for review and action under Clean Water Act section 303(d). The EPA’s upcoming action applies only to waterbodies in the state of Alaska and does not apply to waters that are within Indian Country as defined in 18 U.S.C. Section 1151.
