This course hosted by the State of Alaska’s Rural Utility Business Advisors (RUBA) will teach the skills and knowledge needed for clerk’s management of a small water and wastewater utility. (Even if you don’t deal with water or wastewater, you may be able to attend if seats don’t fill.) Topics include public relations, meetings, office management, elections, financial management and ordinances and resolutions. Elected officials, managers, administrators, chiefs, clerks, treasurers, bookkeepers, and any others who are responsible for managing a water or wastewater utility are invited to attend.
