Washington’s Rails, Keels, and Wheels Grants – Apply by Jan. 8, 2026

Washington Department of Ecology’s Rails, Keels, and Wheels grant program can help  transition big freight vehicles to all-electric models. Replacing or repowering vehicles such as switcher locomotives, tugboats, emergency vehicles, and paratransit reduces air pollution in communities affected by harmful diesel exhaust.
