The American Indian Policy Institute at Arizona State University and the National Congress of American Indians have launched the Center for Tribal Digital Sovereignty, which is dedicated to providing Tribes with the resources and support to address data sovereignty in the digital era. Digital sovereignty encompasses various aspects of a Tribal Nation’s digital plan and footprint, such as Tribal codes, managing data protection, digital equity, network infrastructure, development of funding sources, and capacity building.
