Hosted by the Ak-Chin Indian Community, Part 3 of EPA’s Waste and Materials Management Training Series for Tribes will be held in person in Maricopa, AZ. Join this day and a ½ in-person workshop to learn how to learn how to assess the composition and quantity of the wastes being generating within your community by conducting a hands-on waste sort/characterization. By knowing the types and amounts of the materials and waste your community is generating, you can better evaluate waste management options and identify opportunities for improvement.
