Tribal 319 grantees and Gulf Hypoxia Grant Program Tribal grantees have expressed the need for technical support to train and support Tribal staff in planning, designing, and implementing Nonpoint Source (NPS) management efforts. Under National Priority Area IV in this Request for Applications, EPA is seeking to establish a 5-year, $500K grant/cooperative agreement with an entity to provide technical support to Tribal NPS programs across the United States through:
- Convening Tribal NPS Technical Exchanges
- Providing direct NPS technical assistance to Tribal NPS programs
- Convening technical NPS trainings for Tribal NPS programs
- Coordinating with other federal agencies to leverage technical and financial support
- Providing travel support for Tribal NPS staff to attend NPS-related trainings, etc.
There is no required cost-share/match.
